Moona was birthed from my own problem
of not having a safe, clean, dry place to put my menstrual cups and disc. The cotton bags didn’t feel sterile. Silicone stuck fur, lint, and hair. Zip-lock bags and plastics held moisture and leached toxins and microplastics into my (cat emoji).
In 2024, I was fed up and had an idea! I made one for myself during a ceramics class and soon people asked for them too, so I went on a year long journey working on different shapes, sizes, colors, and techniques to offer a one size fits most.
It is what is now known as the Moona Stone which serves as a menstrual cup and disc holder, but also a beautiful art piece to remove the stigma and shame of period products. Instead of hiding away, your period and body deserve to be celebrated.
